from what i have read you cant keep any fish with them because the fish will eat their food before seahorse can eat it

you can keep sexy shrimp
and snails and thats about it

I wouldn't keep sexy shrimp with dwarfs, either ;) Nothing with claws at all. The only clean-up crew I have in my dwarf tanks are nassarius snails, spaghetti worms and a sea hare or two. No hermits, shrimp, crabs, etc.

And while we are talking about dangerous tankmates - NO amphipods in the tank! Copepods=ok. Amphipods=EVIL!! They can/will take down dwarf fry with ease if they are hungry.....which is why my fry continually disappeared over the last couple years. grrrrrr. And the larger amphipods can grab a juvenile/small adult. Many of us have seen it personally in our tanks.

so the shrimp would eat the babies? @_@
i figure they probably wouldnt hurt the adults but i know dwarfs dont live for very long and i'd like to raise generations of em if i could

cant if i have shrimp eating the babies

would have to be really small mysis
dwarf seahorse are only 1 inch tall so they have a little mouth

as tank mates...mysis
i thought they got pretty big

well i ad some mysis in one of my tank that was about 5mm+- sow i dont think they will be that big but i could be wrong!!
