ya that what i was thinking sence i cant realy see any pod and other little critter in the tank that he in as what use to be before he got in there he have made a great cleane up...LOL
I wouldn't keep sexy shrimp with dwarfs, either Nothing with claws at all. The only clean-up crew I have in my dwarf tanks are nassarius snails, spaghetti worms and a sea hare or two. No hermits, shrimp, crabs, etc.
And while we are talking about dangerous tankmates - NO amphipods in the tank! Copepods=ok. Amphipods=EVIL!! They can/will take down dwarf fry with ease if they are hungry.....which is why my fry continually disappeared over the last couple years. grrrrrr. And the larger amphipods can grab a juvenile/small adult. Many of us have seen it personally in our tanks.
so the shrimp would eat the babies? @_@
i figure they probably wouldnt hurt the adults but i know dwarfs dont live for very long and i'd like to raise generations of em if i could
