Dwyer Air Flow Meter - How To Use on Skimmer?

Does anyone have experience with the Dwyer Air Flow Meters? I just purchased one on eBay (RMA-21-SSV), and it should be here early next week. I did some research here before I made the purchase, and I saw a lot of recommendations to make sure to purchase the valve... which mine does come with the stainless steel valve (SSV) option. My question is... how do I hook this up to my skimmer for testing?

The online instructions say the inlet / discharge on the RMA model are 1/8" FPT. I'm not looking to keep this hooked up permanently since my skimmer uses 2 pumps. Do I need a barbed adapter to test my skimmer from time-to-time, or do I just jam the skimmer tubing into the discharge?

Interesting... so he clogged the inlet on the back and removed the control-valve knob on the front. I wish he would've showed how he hooked the tubing into the discharge... I'm guessing 1/8" FPT x 1/8" barb adapter, but I wonder if an adapter is even necessary for temporary testing.
