dying acros

Wondering if anyone may be able to point me in the right direction, in the last few days I lost one large colony completely and am losing another, I also lost another blue tip a couple of months ago.

I installed a calcium reactor a few weeks ago and have slowly upped my mag from 1200 to 1360, cal 360 - 420 and kh 7 - 14.

Wondering if anyone has come across this type of damage before and what may be a cause.

300l tank, 100l sump, deltec mc500 skimmer, pf600s reactor, 2 x 6100 streams, arcadia ser 3 2 x 400w, chaeto, carom antiphos in sump.

Yeah. Your alkalinity is way high. Keep it around 8-9. Also seem like you are getting a lot of swings... that is to say, no stable parameters. Stabilize stuff, raise tha calcium and low the alk.

have turned my reactor off for a few days to try to reduce the kh and it is down to 11.2 tonight, but ironically this seems to be when the damage occured.

add turbo calc, and slowly bring your reactor back on line. I had the same prob a while ago, and 3 of my acros died.... My neon birdsnest is finally recovering, but I lost my PM :(
