have had a large elegant for 2 weeks. 6 in across. Had a bicolor blenny which picked at it alot until I moved the fish. The coral has died back in the center and is rapidly spreading both ways. Any ideas please?
doubt very seriously that the blenny is the root cause. 2 weeks is definately not past the hump. Until it reaches 6 months to a year, everyday is a gamble with an elegance.
If you start seeing any type of fuzzy or stringy then you need to frag it quickly several inches into the healthy looking portion. Even then keeping it from spreading is not very good.
me too! i said, ah it won't happen to me, 2 months later, DEAD.
