Just bought a torch, few days ago. Had a rough ride home, was in the bag about 3 hours, put him in at the bottom and he never quite opened.
He stuck his tentacles out a little the first few days, and had his mouth wide open, figured he was feeding. Now he's closed up, tentacles are shriveled, some discoloration on one side. It's now losing tentacles and producing some brown sludge in the previously discolored side.
I'm pretty sure he's not coming back from this so my question is, Do I toss him, or is it ok to leave in the tank on the off chance that he'll survive partially melting?
