I just ordered a reef keeper lite and a 20k radium. I cant wait to hook em up! I'm replacing a phoenix 14k so we'll see how that goes. Running it on an aquapod 24 with a 150 sunpod. Any thoughts on using the rkl as an ato?

I'm gonna use my rklite as an ato just need the funds to buy an ato resevoir from advanced acrylics all u need is a float switch andeither the sl1 module or sl2 i got my rklite a few weeks ago and finally set it up haha

Cant you just use a 5 gallon jug as the reserve? Thats what I was planning on doing, that and an aqualifter. Also do you think this is pretty fail safe? Im really worried about flooding.

Yeah you can use that but I want it to look a bit cleaner with a nice acrylic reservoir and as long as u do a little maintanence it should he pretty fail safe I'm worried about it too but one thing I recently learned is the hose in the reserve has to lower then the one in the sump or tank becUse it can cause a siphon and cause it to over flow

But i'm still learning it's my first build all has been going well so don't quote me hahah iv got much to learn but so far I like the rklite and idk if u heard the first week of january they'll be an update so you can use the netmodule!

Ya I dont know if I need the netmodule but its cool that its an option. As far as siphon goes, I was gonna have the reserve in the stand below the tank, so I wonder if that would siphon. I guess the ato out line could be above water level so that it couldnt. Any good links on ato's? Also orp or salintiy more important to monitor? Honestly I dont understand orp yet( im still reading up on it)
