Earthquake pushes reefs out of water

Well this time you really can't stop mother nature.
I shure the reefs will recover since this can't be the first time this happened.

It is certainly natural and has been happening to reefs since they've been around on this planet. What potentially makes this different is a decreased ability of the reef to rebound to these losses due to a host of other stressors.

Pretty cool though.

Adimal leave the Hawaiian fish alone? Hawii just so happins to be the best place to buy fish the laws are better and better inforst. Is it better to buy fish where they still use CYANIDE! reefs have been around for ooo,ooo of years, what man dose is what we need to look out four!

I think there is a National Park in Utah called Capital Reef referring to the geologic aspect it was once a reef and is now more than a mile up and about 1,000 miles from the ocean. Go figure. Theres a lot to be said about the wrong place at the wrong time.

in the chesapeake bay we have calvert cliffs that have coral fossels from the ocean and now its the center point of the chesapeake things do change the earth does move and it heats up and it cools. the problem now is the 200million people on the planet alot of them located in places that are vonerable to the earths ravages.
