earthquake

I felt it as well.. MOved the water around in one of my tanks... FIsh and dog were going crazy about 30 sec before it happened...

We felt it in San Ramon. Scare the snot out of my daughter :)

Hard first shake then gentle waves for about 10 seconds.

You're showing a 4.2 and an aftershock on the USGS site. A mini-adjustment, perhaps.

we got smacked in Berkeley, my roommate had a painting fall on the head of his bed, good wake up call to re-check for earthquake safety.

Cheers,

Josh

yup, 8:40..i felt it in santa clara, no damage....first think i looked at was my tank tho....but everythings fine:)

Yep, epicenter was just down the street from our house, so in all effect we were sitting right on top of it. Probably the best shaker here since '89, but nothing noticeable or out of place in terms of damage. I just redoweled all the rockwork in the room divider 180 to create pillars and overhangs, so this was a good test to see if everything held. So far so good ... not even any frags out of place!

I was on the roof looking through a telescope lining up saturn the old fashioned way.... hmm maybe that's why the telescope kept wobbling :D

i felt it, i thought i was trippin but i saw my fish tank and saw water rocking back and fort, thats how i know there was an earth quick(union city area)

Well just got to my office in South SF where I have a 30g tank and about and inch of water splashed out. A few rocks knocked over, but everything is fine.

It was a little 4 point something on the earthquake. - lol

It was annoying.

Btw, I was outside waiting for the bus during the 89 earthquake - now that was really annoying:D
