What are some good easy sps for a beginner.Have kept lps and zoos/palys.Just want to try my hand at it but want to start with easy to keep ones.

Awesome, any others? And Swolek im sorry but is there a common name for the stylophora??
The Stylophora Coral is a small polyp stony (SPS) coral commonly referred to as Cat's Paw, Club Finger, Cluster, Brush, or Bird's Nest Coral. It has rounded branches with blunt ends that differentiate it from other closely related SPS corals. It is a beautiful pink in color, and is able to adapt to many different lighting and water flow regimes in the aquarium.

I wouldnt shy away from anything
I wouldnt buy anything too expensive but its all a learning experience.
If just wanting to get your feet wet I would go find a frag pack with 10 or 15 assorted sps with at least half of them various acros. Take it from there and see how it goes.
Keep your levels of the big three in line and you will be surprised at how many of them do well

It's weird, what's easy in one tank cannot be kept in another. Birdsnest for instance dies in my tank. Also encrusting Montipora. And the one time I had a slimer it died after several months for no apparent reason.
I'd have to agree monti caps are known for being pretty bulletproof.

Don't be intimidated to try a species of coral, but also be realistic. You can do well with one kind of coral and do poorly with another kind of coral in the exact same family--I've had very sensitive birdsnests and hardy ones, it's kind of a crap shoot. IME birdsnests are more sensitive to nutrient spikes than other corals, just something to keep in mind.
I'd agree with others the monti caps are pretty bullet proof, and I've never lost a pocillopora coral either. I've found Acro Tenius difficult and other smooth-skinned acros hard too.
Are you starting a new tank or adding SPS to you LPS tank?

^ I agree, Tenius and Echinita seems to be on the tougher side. Not to say you shouldn't get them, if you can get $10-$20 frags of them and try them out you may find that they do well in your system.

+ one on ORA the main thing is keep your peramiters solid with out any major swings and do consistant husbandry! Change water and check peramiters! I would make sure to have your tank automated by calcium reactor or 2 part dosing this will help in consistant peramiters. Good luck and let us know how you are doing! Also have great lighting and a primo skimmer and great flow! Chef

Agree 100% The monti digi's, both red and green, grow like weeds. They also IMO have the ability to sustain alk swings a whole lot better, and if you're not running dosing pumps or a calcium reactor, this can save you a tremendous amount of headaches.
I've grown both under T5s and metal halides--I just fragged my green one last week and gave six plugs away yesterday.
