Are the Oscellaris Clownfish picky eaters? It seems as though the bigger one isnt an aggresive eater when I feed pellets. They both get there fill when I feed the Blood worms, LOL i guess thats probably like compairing steak to cold cereal. I just would think hungry is hungry and neither one of them eat very much of the pellets. Also if the pellets hit the sand and it`s there more than a second or two neither one will touch it so I have to toss in a couple pellets at a time, is this normal? They have been that way since day one

That is what I do too. Mine are not crazy about the pellets like they are about frozen food but I still feed them to ensure proper nutrition. The crabs get the ones in the sand. IMO they are not picky, I'd say a little reluctant but they eat every thing offered.

my pellets are not very big at all. They just seem to like the bllod worms the best. I just found it a little odd that the small one more aggressively goes after food.

Ocellaris clowns are generally not picky eaters. They are omnivores, and they usually hand feed. For the record, my clownfish do not like pellets. My 10 year old and 11 year clown eat ocean nutrition' s prime reef, spirulina, krill, small bits of silversides and also dehydrated algae sheets both red and green varieties. Silverside eyes seems to be a delicacy for them, and I have also, seen them eat live copepods and small amphipods. My clowns really hate pellets, even if they have not eaten anything external for a week, but each animal is different.
