EB-8 heaters hookup

hope you can help. I just got an apex last week starting to set it up. only thing my heaters wont come on. 1st and how i like to have it was 2 heaters on one outlet. well that didnt work next i tried put on each on its own outlet and that didn't work.

this how i have my EB8 setup
1. dual 250W ballast
2. single 250w ballast
3. open (tried 2 heater here didnt then went to one still not turning on)
4. open (tried 2 heater here didnt then went to one still not turning on)
5. reefbrite led
6. open
7. campy fan
8. open

Ive seen someone on here put there MH on 4&8 outlet. I was told not to by the person that sold me the apex.
also im goimg to add a return pump, sump light and vortech to this EB-8

Can you post the program you're using for your heater outlets? Typically heaters will work just fine on any of the outlets. You only really need to use outlets 4/8 for low current consumption devices like dosing pumps. Heaters draw plenty to work on the other outlets.
