EB8 -- is the 60-cycle-hum normal?

I'm a proud new owener of an Apex system -- good stuff so far.

One thing I've noticed is my EB8 produces a hum/buzz noise. Not too loud, but definately noicible. Is this normal? It does this even with no load on it (just the AquaBus connection to the Apex ATM)

I never heard a noise from any of my EB8s... However, I'm not sure you could hear it over the sounds of my fish room....
