Ebay MH bulbs

That would be nice to get the same coverage from 1 led as one halide. Even if I had to get the 200 way fixture to light my whole cube (48/48/24) with coverage and comparable par. That would be 1/2 the electric used now. Which would be a welcome sight, not that its a ton but who doesn't like to save money!

2 would work, I have 3 on a 72" and there is a little shadowing with whites on.

I don't mind it though and could by a forth but I would still have brace shadows so for me 3 is OK.

Reefbreeders would be a good light for you, it also adds sunset effects. as to where mine just offer blue and white off and on times

Yeah I have spoken to Logan about the v2. But the fixtures and the watts they use isn't much of a savings. Hence my interest in 1 unit covering my sps tank.

I'll likely stay with halides for awhile. They are easy. Plug and play

Just ordered a few of these to try out. Now I need to find a u shaped metal halide socket holder, any ideas? I found Hamilton technology has them. Anywhere else?

Weird....so I'm waiting for a new 250 ballast and currently running a 400 watt 10k XM bulb on one side of the tank and a 250 watt 20k pulsrite bulb on the other. The side with the pulsrite has started to grow cyano which is odd. I don have that issue in the tank. Anyone else have this issue, or could this be not related to the light.
