eBay MH/T5/LED Fixture?

I am not a boy!
Hey all! I know the eBay black box LEDs are tried and true. I've had them myself over the years and do really like them, but while shopping for my next build I came across a MH/T5/LED combo. I'd love to jump on it as it is super cheap, but of course that makes me nervous too. I've never had a MH fixture but I've seen what they can do and I'd love to give them a shot.

I understand that I will likely have to change out all of the bulbs, but would the actual fixture itself be terrible?

I haven't been active here on RC for awhile and I don't remember the rules for posting links, but the item is:

MH 30" Metal Halide T5 Aquarium Light Reef Marine Coral 346W LED Bulb 250W Lamp

I'd love any input from the pros. The tank it'll be going to will be an SPS dominant 57 rimless.

From the description it sounds like an Odyssea unit, probably unbranded, which is what they do now to avoid people knowing it is an Odyssea. Post the link, it is ok.

if its an odyssea expect the ballasts to be junk, I've owned two different t5 units and ballast have gone out in both before a year, after second unit swore I would never buy another. better off just spending the money on a higher quality unit, will be cheaper in the long run.

I had a cheap fixture and ended up upgrading ballast then the actual fixture because of issues with the bulbs not firing and other random stuff. The ballast that come with those lights are total garbage. Also and not a comment exclusive to these lamps but I'll never buy a DE lamp again. They have always been a huge pain for me and I can get the bulbs to last more than a month or two. Since I switched to SE Fixture I've had no probelm

Thanks for the responses, everyone.

Here is the link.
Yep, Odyssea brand. I'd run far and fast. Good lights aren't cheap in this hobby. Sure, some are overpriced but finding the middle ground is where it's at.

There are used MH fixtures if you look for them

Here's the thing, I did some research and ordered a similar fixture under another name, when I started looking at the light , cheap material and bad design I had determined it was a complete fire hazard. Do yourself a favor and buy a good used hi-end unit.
