anyone have any experience with this? or any other advice about aquarium stuff from ebay?

There are a few threads out there about the sunsun brand, seem to work pretty good. There are also some MH lights on ebay that are about 10 bucks each.

The sunsun powerheads are 3200 gph for 18.88 and 11 for shipping. Better then the 800 gph ones you gave a link for.

I would get ones with magnetic mounts. The suction cups will come off the glass eventually and cause an 800gph sandstorm.

I have two of the 3200gph dual powerheads and one of the 1600gph, all have the magnetic holders. Almost a year in and they still run like a champ. I also use the Plusrite 250watt, 20k, SE bulbs and my SPS grow and hold color nicely. I'm done paying out the nose for stuff, if I don't have to.

I just got 2 of the 14k 250 watt pulserite bulbs on last wednesday to my door for 32.00. They are just slightly less blue than the 15k xms I was running. 32 vs 160 I will got with the 32.00 everytime.....

i bought a "too good to be true" canister filter for my FW planted tank. turned out to be one of the better purchases ive made in this hobby. solid, silent, filters great, whats not to love? i would recommend this "cheap" brand

I have 4 1200's in my tank that are sun sun they work great the only thing is occasionally when I do a water change and have to turn them off when I plug them in they make a griding noise witch turned outt to be the impeller got misalined. Just unplug and try again solves the problem
