Ebony and Orangy. A pairing attempt

Here is a link to ORA see for yourself. Definitely a tomato. And the bottom line is you want to pair these two. No matter what it is, they wont pair and he will be killed off.

Quick update:

After almost one year of keeping these clowns together the two are showing promising mating/egg laying behavior. The male and female are very defensive of the area around the anemone and are picking at a rock area. They are also dancing up a storm in there.

The male has grown his remaining stripes and now looks like a nice A. ocellaris.

Hehe...that baby looks nothing like a tomato. By the front head stripe alone, there is no way that was a tomato. Even if it were, the person who told you that they definitely won't pair and it would be killed off sounds like he knows very little about clowns, as tomatoes and oc's can pair up just like two oc's. I'm glad to hear everything came together and it is awesome if you get them breeding.

Why people add comments like shiv, I can't understand...but, 10 posts in 4 years tells you about his commitment and knowledge.


We need new pictures for this kind of update!!! I want to see how the pair looks now that they've been together for a long time. Congrats!
