Eclipse Yellow Zoas Worth..

I am wondering how much money Eclipse Yellows are worth. I just say that 8 Polyps sold for nearly $300 on ebay. I have a fairly large colony maybe 40 polyps. I have never seen them for sale before.

I've gotten a colony of around 20 polyps for $15, they're not as common as some...and why someone paid that much for them I don't know.

ouch... the pics were probably doctored to make them brighter than they really are.. don't get me wrong, they are really nice... I have a colony of about 50+ polyps and they do stand out colorwise but not worth $300 for 8 polyps to me..

The thing about ebay that hurts us "common folks" is the guy who bought it may be a millionare and $300 is chump change for him thus driving the price up for us all. Then when someone sees them on there for $20-30 a polyp they think WOW! what a deal..... So sad (for me) but thats free commerce I suppose.

Hmm, I also wonder if the persons spouce or buddy runns the bid up like that sometimes to drive the cost of zoas up and never "really" pays for it? Just a thought. I bet it happens all the time.

Those are all good points you guys! I agreed they werent were that much money, I usually sell them for like $5 a polyp when I do sell them.

I saw those same zoas on eBay and noticed all his zoas look a little too colorful. It would seem if I bought those and they were not that bright I would be disappointed.
