Ecotech Marine Vortech Programming - LPS

Hi All,

I recently purchased 2 Ecotech Marine Vortech MP10w's for my 75 gallon LPS tank. I changed the default schedule because I was concerned about getting too much flow/disturbance for the LPS and I do not have an overflow/sump.

I went with constant flow slowly ramping up with the lights off and using Lagoon mode while the lights are on. I have each Vortech at about 55% max flow which is recommended as "optimal flow" based on the flow calculator.

Does anyone recommend any other modes to use with LPS keeping in mind that there is no overflow/sump.

For me Reefcrest is the best flow.

Are you using the Reefcrest with LPS? If so, what % power are you using?

I am using reefcrest in my mixed reef (LPS, SPS, softies) at 55% and it works great.
