Besides the VorTech modes you can also use all built-in wave functions of the ProfiLux.
Firmware of pumps and VorTech-Controller can be updated for future enhancements.

The operational mode can be varied through the day.
2 PAB-ports are present for a flexible bus wiring.

not it will not work with the ProfiLux II light, it requires a PAB connection that only works with the P3

Unfortunately not. Due to technical limitations of the "II" line the Vortech module was not going to be compatible with anything older then the "III", one of the contributing factors when choosing to have it built around the PAB interface (which is PIII only).

The pumps don't plug in at all. This module is for wireless control of the Eco Techs

Yes, I believe you would need to upgrade your MP10 to the MP10w ES inorder to control it with the new module, including all the new EcoSMART functions.

Any wirelessly equipped EcoTech pump will be able to interface with the GHL controller. However, only EcoSMART equipped pumps will be able to enter EcoSMART modes and settings.
