Ecotech Pump Profile for LPS

I have a primarily LPS filled tank and was wondering if anyone had feedback on what type of flow works best for them in their LPS tanks using Ecotech Vortech pumps?

It's going to depnd on the size/dimensions of your tank, how much rock you have and how the rock is stacked but I have a 3-foot 40 breeder with a medium amount of rock and LPS at various heights throughout. My MP-10 is located on one end and set on reefcrest at about 55%. I also have a Tunze 6025 (modded) but that pump is situated on the other side and bonces off the back glass so no LPS are in direct flow from that pump. I find if I go any higer with the MP-10 my acans, scoly and fungia tend to close up.

I have a 45X27X20 with two islands. It has been running for about 5 months now. Primarily LPS. I run 2 MP40WES at each end on Randoom Lagoon at about 35% max. This seems to be the sweet point with my tank. Anymore than that and the sand (Tropic Eden Reefflakes)starts moving and the corals that are higher up in the flow (Torch) don't like it.

my lps's dont like a ton of flow either. the way my tank is set up 125g (72x18x22) i have 2-mp 40's on either side, 1 mp-10 on the rear center, 1200gph from return pump and 2 kor 1050's on the rear corners. i have way to much flow with the mp's turned up more then 30%. now that im getting away from sps corals im going to remove the 2 kor-1050's and im installing 2-seaswirls. i could easily get 100x turnover with all pumps at 100% but it would be a sand storm and lps's would not like it at all.

but my settings are on the third led from the lowest in nutrient transport mode. and the mp 10- is set for 50% max. i might go a little higher when i remove the k's.

ive noticed about 30-40x turnover works best for my tank.

Have 2 MP40w on a 180g, opposite sides of the tank. Primarily softies and LPS. My settings are reef crest at about 60%, but I do have to pick out certain places for some LPS so they don't have too much flow.

I used to do reef crest but I prefer NTM the most now, even without 2 pumps in counter-sync the pulse and surge creates the best overall flow imo. I mix it up a lot though. Some days I will set it to Reef crest, other days lagoon.. will turn the NTM up to max for a cycle once a week to stir crud up and get it moving through overflow.

I wish you could set a full cycle profile where like monday was ntm tuesday was reef crest etc.
