Ecotech Vortech Zip tie mounting pad always falls off

Hi,
I love my VorTechs, but the mounting pad that comes with it always falls off the glass after a couple of weeks.

I've bought numerous mounting pads from home depot, I've tried both black and white ones; all have fallen off after a couple of days/weeks.

I don't want to keep my VorTechs unsecured as I've had one fall off the glass recently. What do you do? What should I do?

Replace the inferior double sided tape that comes on it with 3M VHB tape..
Ensure all surfaces are clean/dry prior to application..

Also available at most local car part stores as well as home depot/hardware stores,etc... if you want it
NOW and likely a bit cheaper as shipping isn't included..
