Ecoxotic LED's Now In Stock!!!

Hey Jeremy,

I have my panorama kit for almost two months, my green corals are very colorful, but my blue corals, are almost no colors.

My LEDs are almost 15cm above my tank.Do you think the LED could be the reason of my "no blue problem".

I have Two 23" Panorama Fixture and 6 Blue Stunner.

I think you would have a tough time trying to cover a 36" width tank with only a couple of Panorama's. In my opinion, you would probably want to go with quite a bit more than that, and having said that, the Panorama is probably not the best option for that footprint of a system, unless you really wanted to invest in quite a few of them.

The new 100w pill shaped cannon might be a better option for you due to the size system you're trying to light.

How are these in comparison.

If you can remove it and don't mind the looks of the Cannon's, I think the 100w units would be a great option for that tank. You might also consider leaving the canopy on and doing the Ecoxotic new retrofits, but you would have to load up with quite a few of those to get the coverage you're after.

How many of the 100W cannon pills would I need? Are they just white or blue LEDs? The site does not have info on them.

I believe they are going to do a 12k and then a blue in those, just like the 50w units. I would think 3 or 4 units in the 12k range, then add in some actinic for supplementation.

Hi Jeremy, I bought a couple of the Panorama modules from you at MACNA to put over my 12g nano. I was wondering if they can be modified with optics to increase the output of the PAR. Any ideas on that?

Hi,

There is no extra optic available for the Panorama at this time. In that small of a tank, you shouldn't need much more. What are you trying to keep in there?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,
I was looking at getting two of the 41 watt 36 retro fixtures for a 90 gallon standard tank Would that be enough coverage for it. Right now im keeping fowlr tank untill i move in about six months and i am trying to build equipment for a lps reef untill then. I looked at the panorama fixtures, but they will involve removing my canopy. I really don't want to do that. Another question I bought a bubble king mini 160 form you guys a while back. I read that grease can be used for the breakdown of foam. What kind of grease can be used for that. Thanks.

I have a 17.5" running that I will take some par measurements from. Any specific depth you're looking for? I have this over a 34g Solana, so I'll be somewhat limited in depth, but it will give you an idea.
