And of course having a new beta box without fishes makes me look kinda silly so…..


From the Thalassoma lunare family:

Rainbow Wrasse

From the Parapercis Schauinslandi family:

Red Spotted Sand Perch

Yes â€"œ two of them.


And here they are in the beta box waiting to be release into their new home…

The above fishes been in the LFS quarantine for over 6 weeks already and all are eating and healthy.


I know…I know I wanted to wait 6 months before adding any fishes but was getting a little worries that there might not be sufficient nutrients for my corals (excuse….) so today I decided to add some more fishes as it’s getting a little boring with nothing swimming inside


Not to mention I’m getting tired each time someone sees my reef tank and ask, “where’s the fishes”?

Hey Ed , looks awesome so far , love the wrasse choice , do plan on adding a few wrasses in , if so any ideas on the others . Also do you have a screen over the tank, or are you worried about jumping ? I plan to add some wrasses as well to mine but am still contemplating a screen over the tank to avoid the jumping which seems to be inevitable.

Most wrasses are but hopefully in my tank with the amount of flow and rocks/ caves, it will help??
