Yup....under the stand!! Very tight under there

Damn difficult to plan a large tank without a fish room support IMO
I hear ya man! I am moving to my new condo/loft soon and have no room for a nice fish room. So I have to find a way to make it all fit under a 36x36 footprint.

How do you like the 4-way anyway? Its awesome on Tim's tank

Did you turn the pumps off to take pics?
It seems so calm....
Your corals are looking great, I´m wondering if they gonna be more collorfull than this, my last tank looks totally brown near yours....
I still thinking I missed something, maybe PO4 levels too high or bad lights..

Thanks Felipe - I simply press the feed button on my multi controller and the sea is calm almost immediately for 10 minutes... :D

Any pictures of your corals?? If it's dark, it could be the nutrients is too high which can be cause by several reasons:

1. Over feeding
2. Over dosing of Zeo products
3. Lack lights

Which leads to high PO4, No3 and eventually HA and cyano :eek2:

However, lights also plays an important role and I think credit must be given to Radium at this moment :p

Ed if your intake to the pump is restricted at all, you will get micro bubbles. Too many bends, plumbing that is too small or restricted intake screen are possible causes. On my tank when my intake screen starts collecting too much macro algae bits and small snail shells, I start to see micro bubbles. This happens because seals are pretty much one way. They are designed to keep water in not air out. When the intake is restricted the pump draws a vacuum and sucks air past the seals. To see it that is the problem, restrict the output a little and see if the bubbles go away.

Amazing Ed! Really beautiful.

Leonardo

Thanks Leo - coming from you is a real honor...

Now that you're redoing the tank (with the recent incident) are you going to scape first before adding corals??
