What you think???

I finally pull the plug and decided to get the new ATB Airstar pump 16000 to replace my hammerhead as I still can’t get rid of those micro bubbles somehow??

THANK YOU ANTON !! Even comes in a choice of Red or White…..which was a no brainer for me to choose Red to match my over theme.

Now I got to start saving to change my return pump and skimmer to the same theme color as well….. :rolleye1:

Some more pictures of how the pump looks like??

Great thick rubber sole to absorbed the vibration.

Will try to hook it up this weekend and see how it works! Then I will send my hammerhead back to my distributor to see what’s wrong??

What was your guess

well on these crappy computers at work, all i could see was what i thought was the word "net" so i thought it was going to be the netting for a top screen. haha, like i said, wayyyy off!!

OK...now that the cat is out of the bag, come out front - WHO GUESS CORRECTLY?

I know the closest was Jeremy and Nick....well done!!

Now the next guess is what's the clicking sound I've been hearing??

haha at first i thought it was a zeo reactor i even called Victor asking if they were ready, nice pump.

my Deluxe 8.5 and flowstar1500 will be at my house in a week i hope.

Just completed reading both of Ed's tank build threads, which naturally, took two days on and off:)

Great stuff indeed!

I am in the process of ordering a new rimless setup to replace an 80g tall fresh water planted tank we have downstairs in the family room. I find these build threads very informative as well as providing many great ideas!!

Thanks all for your contribution and I hope to be starting a build thread of my own here shortly!!

Yesterday I spent some time reading at the hospital as my wife is 9 months pregnant (today is 38 weeks, yeah!!) and we thought we were being induced yesterday. So I brought my laptop to continue some work as well as read this build thread!!!

LOL -- great stuff Ed!!

Congrats!!

Even Victor thought Anton send me the zeo reactor...

Well, actually the Zeo reactor is ready and was send off to Victor for testing/ Problem was Anton told me that unit is only good for 1L to 1.5L so not really large enough for my uses.

clicking sound would be a mantis Ed ;) that or a malfunctioning OM unit...

Doubt it's a mulfunction OM (I hope anyway)

But leaning towards a pistol or a mantis...from the pattern of the clicking sure sounded more like a pistol :p

i have a pistol in my small tank, is it a single click every so often or a series of clicks?? i figured out how to find them, Turn off all the pumps and get a large gallon size container of fresh RO water and pour it down onto the rocks when you pour it around the shrimp it senses the change in salinity and clicks. then you know where it is.

let me know if it works, you don't need to pour out the whole gallon at once.

I will try it on a turkey blaster and see if it works :eek1:
