Solar is just too damned expensive. Payback would be about ten years or so, but I'm still not sure...

Do you think the oil companies would let us know they are raising thier prices & then hold off on the price hike? Hell, no............they'd give it to us in the shorts like they have already. How is gas .79 a gallon in Saudi Arabia, but $2.75 a gallon here? $47 billion profits & $440 million pensions is why.......
Edison lost millions & millions per day during the Enron scandal, so they are simply trying to recoup thier losses. It's a shame that we have to pay for it (instead of crooks like Kenneth Lay & his Texas buddies i.e. Dubya), but what don't we pay for??
