eel help please

I have 3 eel in my 125 right now there are 2 snow flake eels (10" + 14)" and a banded snake eel 24" i have had all three now for about a year I also have porcupine puffer, stars and stripes puffer, niger trigger, picaso trigger, blue tang, and a koran angel . I am currently working on setting up a 300 gal tank that is 67" x 30" x 36" i allready have the tank I just need to build a stand
I would like to add another eel or two. I was just wondering if I can get some recomendations on a eel who can be generally trusted to get along with other eels and fish. I as looking at a chain eel (Echidna catenata), ghost eel (Pseudechidna brummeri), or a zebra eel (Gymnomuraena zebra)
thanks for your help
matt

all three eels you mentioned are very compatible in terms of aggression with the ones you have at the moment. I will say that I personally would not mix triggers with eels since they are prone to nipping at the eels (this can in theory apply to puffers too, but personally I've mixed dogface puffer with eels before).

Tessie is way too aggressive to mix with pebbletooths or any small eel for that matter. Tessies easily reach 5-6' and are killing machines, ideally should be in a species tank. You may have problems later on with the 2 snowflakes fighting once they gain some size. Chain or zebra would be fine. I'd avoid the ghost, simply because it is going to be hard to wean/feed with that many fish. If you decide on a ghost, wean it onto frozen before adding it to the tank.

Zebra eels are none aggressive, but they grow to be about 3-4 inches in diameter and between 4-5 feet in length. They are surprisingly active and due tend to explore. You will need to make sure all your rocks are 100% secure or else they are going to get knocked around :P.

i wouldnt do another one of those eels, try a dwarf golden moray, or a wolf eel. also triggers make great tankmates for eels an eel can easily hold its own against a trigger. i had a snowflake eel eat a 5 inch niger trigger once.

Trigger or puffer would more than likely kill the golden dwarf. They need peaceful tankmates.

i was saying with normal sized eels such as snowflakes chainlink tesslata banana etc. dwarf golden morays are not a good candidate for a aggressive tank just trying to give a suggestions.
