Thanks, Its about 12-13" long and looks awesome!

After almost 2 hours of drip Acc, he went in like a champ. With some strategic releasing, he went into a good rock pile/cavern/cave. He set up camp and is poking his head out on the left side of the aquascape http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1982150

Right now there is a med sized Volitan Lion and a small 2 1/2" Niger Trigger fish. That will probably be it for awhile.

Very nice man....looks great!

Thanks again! Will post some pics tomorrow as the lights won't be on again till then. Also to answer your question from the other thread, I don't have a puffer in there. Was thinking about one but going to stand pat right now. Getting the Dragon Eel this afternoon wasn't planned, just came across a heck of a deal.

I'd be careful with the lion. my dragon would go a little crazy during meals and swim blindly throughout the tank and seeing how lions tend to not be afraid of anything and hold their ground, it could result in one very expensive sting.

have any pics of it in the tank yet?

Thanks for the heads up on the Lion, I'll be monitoring it very closely! No pics yet but will post some tomorrow.

I have a stars and stripes puffer and would love to get a Dragon eel. I was told they would be fine together. I'm still a little weary about it though.

Well, looks like the Dragon eel is all accumated just fine, it just ate the Niger Trigger.

Here is a mug shot of the culpret, so smug and content now.

I was about to say the niger wouldn't be around much longer, but it seems it's already happened. Good luck with it.

Wow really that quick!! What the heck can you keep with these guys?!? I've always found them to be amazing and in my dreams I have one, but if they are a terror idk if I could. Do you have to have almost all large mature fish?

Ya, that was very unfortunate. I was hoping the N. Trigger would have made it due to him being very active and the shape might have been daunting to the eel.

Damn that sucks. How big was the Trigger?

About 2 1/2" and looked awesome. :sad1:
