I got a 180 fowlr, on this I have a closed loop system that runs off a sequence dart, then discharges into a OM 4-way, then the 4 outlets from there it goes into the tank through the back walls, 2 outlets at the top and two at the bottom. The ones near the top of the tank are just a bulkhead with NO fittings going to on the inside of the tank. The two that run on the bottom have some piping to it, its 1" piping. I'm wondering when I get my banana eel, (and those are pricey) if he will try to sneak into the closed loop piping.....possibly making his way up to the OM unit to get chopped up when it rotates. I would'nt normally be worried if there was a constant flow coming out of the 4 oultets in the tank, but if any of you know how an Ocean Motion works is that there is a time when the flow is only coming out of two of the outlets, then it rotated and the other two get the flow. Any good advice here ? I do plan to put some 1 1/2" pvc along the bottom of the tank for a hideout, home for him.
