Eel's not eating.

So after that eel escape story i had my eel's finally feeling better now. but now the problem is that it comes out and everything BUT WONT EAT:hmm4: Im trying to hand feed it silver sides it comes up and stares at the food for about some seconds and goes back down....:furious: its been almost
2 weeks!!! maybe i should give it more time or something but i dont
know.. ANY IDEAS to help it?

Clip the food to the tank and leave it there? You might be scaring it when it's trying to eat.

WOW your right i do have an algae clip that i can use... looks like im having trouble thinking
of some good ideas.

Try a fresh piece of squid, it has a strong smell they love. Also try fresh Shrimp, I can be 10th from my tank and he comes. If they don't work give a couple days and try again, they can go a lot longer without food, mine once went almost 2 months without eating.

Most fish section of a grocery store should carry some, either fresh or frozen.

Don't worry if he doesn't eat even for a few months. Most adult eels can go an extended period without food and will often do just that for who knows what reasons. My friend's whitemouth eel went off food for 7 months. He stopped eating one day for no reason then started eating 7 months later for no reason while all the other eels in the tanks kept their normal feeding schedules. How big is your snowflake? If he's near adult size I wouldn't start to worry until 2 or 3 months without him taking food.
