eels

can I keep more than one on my tank??? I want to keep only some eels can I do that.. wish kind that I can mix..

i have a jeweled,chainlink,and a goldentail in a 120 gallon.All of them around 20". It can be done just pick eels that are similar in size and aggression.

I had a snowflake with a ghost ribbon eel--until the ghost eel showed up with a bite sized chunk of its long dorsal fin missing. The snowflake went to the local pet store, and the dorsal fin on my ghost eel grew back. He is much happier now that he does not have to hide from the snowflake and is out and about all the time--gorgeous.

I would be very careful with the banana--very expensive fish to play around with --- my ribbon was not very aggressive and I don't know about the aggression level of a banana

Of course the lfs told me my ghost would be ok with snowflake, but they were wrong......

We had 2x Zebra eels, a Chainlink and a Goldentail, no problems.

I currently have a snowflake and a white eyed moray in a 75g and no problems at all. Getting ready to move the snowflake into my 240g and add a banana eel (aka goldentail "yellow morph").

All depends on the size tank you have.
