Effective flow range of a MP40QD

What "range" or effective flow distance does a MP40QD have?

I'm doing a 5.5' peninsula tank in which I dont want any equipment on the far end.. I'm thinking about going with 2x MP40QD's on the side overflow wall but am not sure if they can handle the 5.5' or not.

Will the end just build up with detritus or will the 2x tandem MP40s on the same end wall be able to provide enough flow for the peninsula?

I would think fine. I have 2, one on each end, both about 4" in from the front glass and 6"-8" down from the top on a 48"x24"x16 80gal rimless. The max I run them is 60%. I have cranked them up to 100% just to see, and water almost sloshed over the opposite side, and I swear I thought I saw a whirlpool in the middle!
