efficient lighting strictly for aesthetics

Any opinions on what lights corals and fish look best under? The lower the wattage, the better. I plan on using sunlight for growth, but would like to view the tank in the evening, especially in the winter.

Thanks,

Joe

IMO, actinics to make the color pop and MH to make the tank bright.

I hate my tank with just the 30w actinic running. It looks so dim that it hurts my eyes to look at it, no joke.

if you're concerned strictly with wattage I don't think you can beat T5's with good reflectors for the amount of light vs. wattage used
