These are two of my favorite species available in the hobby. I'd love to see all the colors and shapes you all have managed to achieve with these critters!
NY Mike - that's a lovely efflo. I've got a similar one, but looks more like the white and purple vs. the brownish color some of yours has. What makes the difference in the colors? Is the brownish part shaded? Thanks.
I have few, colors are a lil off right now but coming back nicely i think.
This is a big fat green one. Have had it for years and it is all over my tank. I have found that it can grow into one of my purple efflos and the colors mix. I am trying to see if I can get some purple into this piece with the frag you see on the right side. What could go wrong?
Here is another pic of the green one growing down in among the other stuff. It is a big heavy efflo and it will grow over almost anything.
Here is a pic of the left side of the tank. You can see a row of efflos and solis along the edge of the reef. Their colors are a lil off right now due to some water quality and lighting issues recently but they are recovering nicely.
Here are a couple of images of the 500 dollar efflo. I like this better than most efflos as it grows much thinner, flatter and lighter than a typical efflo.
