Efflo?

Hello fellow SPS lovers,

Is this an acropora efflorescens?

I am going to say no on the efflo http://sdmas.com/corals/827.php. It's too branchy and looks like it is going upward.

It looks like it was a few larger branches that have moved to a different environment and those large branches are growing new tips all over it. Judging from the new tips i would say Acropora nana http://sdmas.com/corals/50.php.

Interesting you mentioned that it is an a.nana. I received a few remarks from other sites that states that is is an a.solitaryensis.

I have since fragged it into 2 pieces and mounted them horizontally.

That will be the real test to see how it grows out from that. :beer:

Ya, will monitor over the next several months how these 2 pieces do and perhaps post an update or two in this forum.

Before being fragged last night, it was growing quite well with increasing thickness and branches lengthening.
