Egg (?) ID please for associated Nudi?

I recently found this little guy on my glass. On the presumption of "Nudis are EVIL!" (please don't flame me as I say that in jest), I used a turkey baster to suck it off the glass:

At less than .5", he was realtively young:

I am relatively certain it needs to go but the bigger question is, "Are these going to be more?"

In this next picture, the bottom left shows that the mass extends under the rock (the whitish-pink line of stuff facing down; I know it's hard to distingish so I point it out for emphasis). When I first got this rock with a frag on it, I thought these were tunicates but the mysterious appearance of the nudi, weeks after the last add, makes me wonder. The mass is increasing in number daily, btw.

ps... I would be curious what this particular nudi's food source is so that I can be on the prowl for egg masses or more nudi's.

Your suspicion that those are tunicates is correct.

The nudibranch is an aeolid of some sort, so will feed on a cnidarian. That may be coral, but I think it's more likely a hydroid or anemone in this case since I don't recognize the slug. There is also a good chance that it's full grown at that size. In any event, I wouldn't put it back in the tank.

I guess I can 'fess up. It was flushed after the pictures were taken.

Hopefully, we can get a more definitive answer on its food source. For some reason I suspect it to be a monti-eating nudi, as a monti is the most recent add to the tank. The monti in question is doing well, but....

Thanks for the confirmation on the tunicates, greenbean36191. Even with a magnifying glass, I sometimes question my eyes. I find it easier to take a picture and look at it onscreen in situations like this. I was 95% certain that they were tunicates as I posted, but a second (or more highly numbered) opinion always helps.
