Eggs dieing?

I put a plastic sheet in the tank for my Maroon clowns to lay eggs on and they did. Well the eggs have slowly been disappearing and now there is only about 20-50 left. Is it because of the plastic sheet?

What color are the eggs? What is the origin of the plastic?

My guess is they are falling off the plastic. Why did you use plastic?

It is a sheet of plexi-glass from home depot. I had it lying around and since they were laying on the glass I figured they would like this. I'm going to use a tile which side should I use, the smooth side or the rough side?

Use the rough side. You'll be glad you got them laying on a tile. It makes life so much easier.
