LRS was getting me cuttlefish eggs and they hatched in transit...so needless to say they were very stressed and most did not make it (picked them up 10pm last night)...
well 4 are alive...but they seemed very stressed if I try to feed them at all...even brine shrimp scare them....
Has anyone raised them and can you tell me how long to wait till I try to feed them...
Thanks MK

Brine is going to be too big. You need something smaller like mysis or small pods. Sometimes they don't eat for a few days after hatching.
What were you planning on feeding them after they hatched?

Thanks for the response.....Small pods....I culture pods to feed my Sea horses...but those actually seemed too small.....MK

To my suprise, i had newborns readily eat marine shrimp that I got from
http://www.livebrineshrimp.com/

I only discovered this because a shrimp accidentally fell into the breeding net with the newborns when I was feeding older cuttles.

Its more expensive to feed them these, but they will grow drastically faster.

They also don't send you all of one size. :D
http://www.shrimpstuff.com/ will send you uniform sizes, but the shrimp they sell are much more cannibalistic so you need to feed them often.

Daniel,
Interesting! How new born were they?
