I found these eggs on the base of my koralia today. Anybody know what they are?

Thanks!

Austin,

It is easier if it is multiple choice. What is in the tank that could have laid the eggs? How big are the eggs?

The egg patch is about 1 in x 3/4 in. It could be snails. I am hoping it is snails. I have astreas, nasarius, and a margarita or two. Other than that I am not really sure what it could be. I don't think it would be any of the fish as I have no pairs and no new additions in a long time.

Cool picture. Sometimes the experts can ID a molusk by the egg laying pattern. That one is pretty distinctive.

You could try posting in the other inverts forum.

Otherwise, you could try the sea slug forum on the chance you have a nudibranch you didn't know about.

I'd place bets on the astreas or margaritas. Nassarius snail eggs are typically white in a clear sack.

No question the're snail eggs. Only question is which. I've had nassarius, astreas, ceriths, and trochus and those aint them. So, I'd have to say margaritas.
