Eheim compact as good as the universal?

Still in the market for a better RT pump.

so my question is, is the Eheim compact as robust and trustworthy as there universal?
are they made by Eheim? thought I read there where not.

between these 3 pumps:
Eheim compact 3000
syncra pro
jeabo DCP 6500

thoughts & feedback very welcome.
other DC pumps are out of my budget. :(

The eheim compacts are made by Eden I used a 2000 and it was a great pump very powerful. I used it on a 33 gallon tank with a 600 gph Lifereef overflow so it required a lot of flow. The eheim 1250 was not enough but Compact 2000 was a lot more like a Mag 7 pump.

I have the 3000 and really like it. It's really quiet - all I hear is a faint hum. I've had it 2 years and has never failed to restart. I didn't know that was not made Eheim.

Everything I find says the compacts are a great pump. I have a 3000 waiting to get wet with my new build

Thanks everyone glad to hear there good pumps.
Just with they had a feed mode. Not the end of the world but would be nice.

Will need to go to a DC pump to get a feature like that. AC pumps are 100% or nothing.

yeah I think I am just gonna go with the Eheim compact 3000.
with the $$ I am starting to invest in corals and fish + I will be leaving for 3 weeks in feb. then again in may the peace of mind is well worth the extra $

why does the head loss calculator not let you input the GPH base rate? now it only lets you select pumps. not cool man, not cool at all.
when did that happen?

anyone know where i can calculate?
