eheim pump question

I bought a 1262 and wanted to know if I increase the outlet to 1 inch will the flow increase?

The easier it is for the water to flow the more GPH you will get out of it. I've used both the 1/2 inch and 1 inch tubing and the difference was big. I have a 1 inch piece that feeds a Y valve to two 1/2 inch pieces of tubing. One goes to my return and the other to my chiller.
If you want more flow, got with bigger tubing.

I just ordered the larger 1" fitting from eheim so my outlet will be the same size as the inlet.

Didn't the pump come with the 1" outlet? Mine did.

also depends on head pressure, if your going up 30ft the smaller size will pump more water

I think my 1262 came with both sizes

Mine came with a 1 inch for the input and 5/8 for the output. So I'm thinking with the 1" output it will pump more h20.
