Finally, after years of searching, I found one of these Red Sea beauties available. Haven't been so excited about a fish in quite a while LOL. In all fairness to the photographer this is not my picture.

NICE!!

I see these frequently on the list but never the red sea and yes there is a big difference between the two.

Cant wait to see some pics of him cruising the tank.

Not WYSIWYG; that one in the pic is flashing. It came from a non-sponsor here so I better not say. PM if you're interested. Cost about a Franklin.

awesome fish for sure ! i had ,yes had a pair and they both died on the same week approx. two years after i bought them . they are simply stunning and worth every penny and effort that they require to keep which isn't much . pretty easy to keep after the initial week or two IMO . i like to feed live foods for the first week or two until they eat PE mysis with gusto .
i certainly wish you the best and am very jealous of your new addition !

Congrats Dave, definately one of the favorite fish I have ever owned. Bought one from Mitch at Fishey Buisness probably 7 or so years ago. The fish started flashing me at Christmas one year when we set up the tree (he was flashing the lights on the tree). He somehow jumped out of a closed tank:(

Good luck with yours!

Chris

cool looking fish, but you're showing your age here, Dave. "It cost 'bout a benjamin" is more youthful, in a gangsta sorta way.

LOL, I try for my kid's sake (they're not really "kids" anymore), but you're right, I'm too old to have the language down. Need to consult Urban Dictionary more often:lmao:

They sent the wrong damn fish, Pseudocheilinus octotaenia! I can't believe it. Other than the species name the two have very little in common. The one they sent is worth maybe $25 and can be a bit pugnacious.

Not good for you, even worse for them;)

Still a PIT you know what.
