The past situation with Travis is of no concern of yours. It has nothing to do with "that one store" and that owner has done absolutely nothing in this to influence anything anyone has done. And this is the last time I want that store mentioned. Understood? We needed the help from a secretary and Travis is the only one who wanted to step up. The leadership team along with others have discussed this and decided it was for the best.

Jerrod, i dont understand why you would be concerned over my "situation".. none of this has anything to do with you, or your store. you were kicked out of the club, said nasty things about everybody else including myself, and now you're back on here trying to play the good guy?? If more people cared about your opinion and the way you do things or run a reef, i think there'd be more people in your store asking you about it.

What does beer have anything to do with learning? There was NO formal discussion at all. Maybe if the "topic" was elections then we should have had some discussion on what people wanted to talk about in 2012 and ideas in raising capital for the club being that the account is nearly drained. Even if it was a total of 30 minutes of real discussion that would be good. Oh and here is a thought. Maybe if you form a couple of sub committees to organize different parts of the club (ie a DIY committee, a research committee, a new product committee ect, a revenue generating committee) then each committee could update the club on what's new each month. That's not a "lecture". it's standard club business.
The deal is that I'm not bringing these issues up to make anyone mad, I'm bringing it up because I genuinely care about the club. We just need to get organized. Im happy to help and pitch in but unless the officers recognize there are issues, then what's the point.
So.....Officers - should we make some changes to help the club succeed or do you all want to keep it the way it is?

yes, start a thread with your idea and it will be open for discussion. as im sure you know, not everybody wants to "get involved" so i dont know if your committee idea will work, but agree we are short on capital and need ideas to raise funds. start a thred about a SINGLE idea at a time and it will be open for discussion. So say we start chat about ideas to raise funds today, by the time the Xmas meeting rolls around there is already a basic blueprint for the idea and we can have an educated discussion in front of all members instead of spit-balling in private about what could be done.
I think this thread needs to stop, its not going anywhere but down the toilet and makes reverse progression on the issues at hand.

I'm pretty sure I explained that thouroughly to you and we cleared it up? What exactly does "told who did it" mean?
IMO some people need to step away if they're so unhappy about the club. While they are trying to make the club look bad (and I'm not saying they're all innocent) it's themselves that look the worst.
