Electric Bill

13.25" x 30.5". I did the SLIGHTEST "hacksaw" mod to the front ;) I cut 1/4" off the front trim on two small sections so it would slide in nice. However it's right near the drain holes, so has absolutely no impact on the frame if I decide to slip the window back in.

It actually hangs outside only maybe 6" or so past the side of my house. As long as it works long run, I'm pretty impressed with the punch it packs.

Since were speaking of bills how much water is everyone using per month. We cannot compair costs because some bills include septic charge I was just wondering how many gallons others are using per month.

We used 5700 gallons last month with no lawn watering or car washing.

is your aquacontroller controlling it?

Thought about it as it claims to retain settings during power outages (not sure how long though).

Wouldn't it turn the power off to the A/C though? That would erase the A/C settings wouldn't it?

if you do decide to try it I can give you some DIY plans for a relay that takes the brunt of the amperage so as not to effect your dc4 or 8's. I made one and have been using one about a year for my chiller. I think it cost less than 20 bucks to make probably closer to 10.00.

Cool. I have one of the expansion modules for my BW7, but would likely look at something like that as well for this solution if I went that route. If I can keep the room at 75-76 (been 80), likely the AC3 won't need to control it at all and the tanks won't float up in temperature.

I wasn't getting bad at all. Mine is set to kick the heaters on at 78.7, off at 79.0, fan on at 79.3, off at 79.0, secondary fans on at 79.5 off at 79.0. I hit 80.5 yesterday, and that was my final decision to make a move. It's not in the "danger" territory yet, but I didn't want to push it either ;) Not to mention the cost of trying to force the house air conditioning to cool one room...

57 CCF on this bill (3 months), or 42,636 gallons. The last week we've received the first rain in Hilliard for almost two months and I'm trying to grow re-seeded sections

better be safe than sorry
my chiller kicks on at 79 and off at 78.5
heaters on at 77.7 and off at 78
found a squirrel cage fan off a tanning bed that comes on at 78.1 and off at 77.9 it blows across the top of the tank. used it in the basement but it was creating too much humidity (not so much circulation) got the chiller to prevent the house air from being needed so much. the whole house fan makes a huge difference till it gets to about 82 outside.

Better safe than sorry is right. It's about that time of year we unfortunately see tanks crashing left and right on RC. I'll look into the fan, as I'm looking for a better solution there. My humidity isn't bad with the de-humidifier, although that adds to my heat issue. This should help as well.

oh and I also added a return in the basement that I can open and close with a louver. I cut it into an exesting run. It seems to help a bit but still unsure about the efficiency.
I'll see If I can dig up the plans for the relay (all radio shack parts)and i'll email it to you.

I'm on AEPs budget plan and every 6 to 12 months they sock it to me and up my budget. I think it's up to $89 month, ea month. Most of it's tank and A/C in summer. I don't wanna know how much my power my tank consumes...

We haven't even turned on the A/C and our monthly average bill is $221, it was about $70 before Saltwater came into the house.

i guess ive been lucky since mine was $147 with

4x 250w mh
fuge light
return pump
4 korialas
skimmer

and the ac running
