Pedro long story short.
I have tow dedicated 20 amp breakers specific to my tank, this are inline with my standby genset.
One of the actual plugs(double 3 prong) was actually a 15 amp an oversight when the tank was done, thus it got cooked and caused some issues.
Steve was very helpful over the phone.

I got new 20 amp triple prong connections and all is well.

Chismosa!:D

LOL bzzzzzzzzzzz bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Thanks for the update.

With comments like this, enquiring minds wanted to know. A lot of folks (not me, of course) take their electrical setup for granted until something bad happens. Hopefully this will serve as a wakeup call to everyone to review your wiring. I'm glad all is well.

pedromatic electrical failures 90 % are with bad connections, splices, outlets and plugs etc. If you draw 10 Amps in a 20 amp circuit you are certainly safer than the person that draws 15-20 amps in a 20 amp circuit. The wiring is rated for 20 amps but the connections that are done in about 10 seconds from the electricians wiring your house, who knows some times they can last for 30 years some times fail within a year. In new homes is not uncommon to find quick connect "push in" connections instead of wire nuts (a much quicker wiring method with more failures) and # 14 instead of # 12 wire, a smaller cheaper gage. Electrical companies wire a home with 30 hrs labor and under $ 5000.00 in today's competitive world.
