No Clue What This Is

As title says, I have no idea what this is. I have vague ideas of what is causing this but not an understanding to combat the issue.

What is the first picture? Close up of the sand bed? IMO you’re not dealing with anything unusual.

I’m just seeing algae that is either bubble algae or other nuisance algae that is photosynthesizing and creating air bubbles (unable to tell which type).

2nd and third pic I’m seeing air bubbles in the sand bed from originally placing the sand bed or likely caused by the bacteria in the sand bed processing nutrients
