Hi
I found electric leakage in my tank.
Can any one recommend a ground prob? I believe it something like the picture enclosed.

that is the point - its not a single source or one item that causing the stray current.. its at least few (and all products are new) and this is why i think that the problem is in my house grounding electricity system and not in the aquarium items..

I dont know what is the exact term of the problem but when i am barefoot and touch the surface of the water i feel a sting in my hand (in different areas so cuts are not the case).

what is multimeter?? can you send a picture or a link?

thanks!

that's not possible.
There is one product, regardless of it being new or old, that is introducing current to your tank. A ground probe is not a proper fix.

If your house ground is inadequate/not right, you'd have major issues everywhere in the home.

Don't mess around with electricity and water. This is not a minor problem.

Yes, if you are using power strips, which I'm sure you are, make sure to unplug everything and test to make sure it isnt the strip itself, then start plugging things in. Also, don't forget to unplug your lights. I was reading another thread about a guy chasing stray voltage. He checked everything, almost went crazy because he couldnt find it, then realized his lights were plugged in to allow him to see better. That was where his problem was.
