Electronic P04 checker?

Hi guys,

I've been out of the hobby for a few years now, so I'm a little outdated with the latest technology. I'm looking for the best digital P04 checker for my new biocube 29 gallon. Are there any good handheld ones that are worth it?

I'm seeing the ones on bulk reef and marine depot. However, they dont say that are low range? Are they?

That's the one I have and it works great. You have to pay attention though or it will time out on you.

I was able to order the low range one through their website for around $50.

Wouldn't the Hanna ULR phosporous checker be a better bet since most of us keep our phosphates very low? It's more percise (0.04 +/- vs 0.015 +/-). It measures phorsporous in ppb, but that is easily converted to phosphate in ppm by multiplying by 3 and then dividing by 1000.

Check out the Milwaukee too. I've seen good reviews on it. As far as the Hanna I have one but don't like the results I get. They are all over the board. Last night I ran a series of tests. First was .90 2nd was 0.00 then the last was 0.03. The 1st was an aboration but I get results like this all the time. I can never trust the first test so I always run 3.

The Hanna full size unit has VERY SMALL openings on the curvetts.
The Milwaukee Martini is a better choice.
