Electronic pump, high pitch noice?

Hi!

I woke up last night because of a high pitch noice from one of my TUNZE Electonic pumps. The noice came from the "blue box". The noice didn't stop when I pushed stop on the Multi Controller 7094. I have to disconect the electricity to make it stop.

What's the reason?

JMOAONE,
That is the alarm, to tell you it needs to be cleaned/it is stuck... Pull the pump out and soak it in 50/50 mix of vinagar/water and clean out the insides... watch out, I was just doing this and busted the prop shaft... just be careful...
