Elegace coral has eracer size hole

I bought this coral from lfs put it tank first day fine next day found coral all retraced i seen hole in front of coral base and there was some tiny
things crawling around pick them out with teweezers put back on bottom of tank seems fine my question should i plug the hole or will it grow over please help this nub.

sounds like a gal crab, mine had 2 in it. its usually a good thing to do an iodine dip just to prevent infection, but it should be fine you don't need to plug the whole.
